In the episode, Stacey knocks Phil out with a spanner after witnessing him in a bodily struggle with Martin, who was protecting Kat. Turner defined that Stacey attacks Phil in a “blind panic” after recognizing Martin in danger and is in “full shock” afterwards, not processing what happens till she returns residence. Stacey confronts Sean on the pub and Sean is indignant at Stacey for not telling him about Roxy’s demise. Sean goes missing and Stacey and Jean handle to hint him at a barn on the point of suicide. Sean reveals that he killed their father throughout an argument, but Stacey and Jean forgive him and handle to speak him out of suicide. A few weeks later Stacey spends an evening at Max’s house after seeing him drunk and finds out that he is self harming, her friendship with Ruby then becomes strained after she begins a relationship with Max. After an argument with Martin, Stacey admits to him that she is jealous of Max and Ruby and so he walks out of the Queen Vic from her.
Devastated, Tanya slaps Stacey and Bradley ends their marriage again for six months. He eventually decides to offer their marriage one other chance, suggesting that they start a household. Stacey is unsure and secretly continues having contraception pills. Although she makes an attempt to reignite the spark in her marriage, Stacey divorces Bradley. Stacey helps Belinda out at her new salon and Belinda is impressed along with her.
